David Pearl, Founder

David Pearl is a leader in the commercial real estate arena. Having brokered the sale of thousands of apartment units, David truly has an impressive track record.

David’s experience and industry foresight, aligned with a unique comprehension of his clients’s needs and requirements, mean that he has expertly handled a wide range of real estate objectives and transactions. His client list is extensive and represents both national and international coverage. His philosophy is built around his understanding of property at the strategic, as well as asset level. David identifies turning points which allow him to pinpoint sectors of the real estate market with strong income potential.

David has tremendous experience in all aspects of sales. After graduating college, he went on to work for Jive Records in NYC, the biggest and one of the most famous record labels in the world. David was then offered a position at Interep Radio Sales, NYC. Interep handled all of the radio sales for every CBS owned radio station nationally. David then worked as a mortgage broker for Premier Mortgage Funding. He gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from the lending side, which helped him get a better understanding of the real estate business. When the recession and housing crisis occurred, Premier Mortgage Funding filed for bankruptcy and David left the company to go into the commercial real estate business.

David began his commercial brokerage career by joining Hospitality Consultants Realty Services, Inc. (HCRSI) During his time at HCRSI, David focused on the distressed asset market since the housing crisis was occurring at that time. In addition to becoming a top performer in the sector, much effort was put into developing strong relationships with banks and asset managers.

David then joined KW Commercial, the commercial division of Keller Williams. There, David formed Peal Real Estate Group, which became one of the highest producing teams within the entire company.  Once the real estate market recovered, David then shifted his focus to the market rate side of the business, at which point he joined Marcus & Millichap. There, he specialized in the sale of apartment buildings in the Koreatown submarket and adjacent neighborhoods. David then went back to his roots and is currently with KW Commercial in Santa Monica. He continues to focus on multifamily sales and development opportunities in the greater Koreatown area.

David’s clients know him to be extremely transparent, honest, trustworthy and persistent.  His core beliefs are that honesty and integrity come first. David eats, sleeps and breathes the commercial real estate business.
